1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, or utilizing the BreadIQ calculation engines (Free, Basic, or Premium) across our web platform, desktop tools, or native iOS and Android mobile applications, the user agrees to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If a user does not agree, access to the software is immediately revoked.

2. Description of Service & Account Security

• The Platform:BreadIQ provides a digital workbench utilizing proprietary algorithms for baker's percentages, hydration metrics, automated cost tracking, and predictive fermentation calculations.
• Account Responsibility: Users are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials (secured and authenticated via Supabase) and for all activities, data entries, and transactions that occur under their account.

3. Subscription Tiers, Vault Gating, & Financial Calculations

Access to specific advanced tools and cloud storage allocation is strictly governed by the user's active subscription tier:

• Free-to-Use Tier: Access to foundational calculator tools with zero cloud storage save slots.
• Basic Tier:Unlocks the Active Bake Timer Engine, automated market-insight cost estimations (utilizing data pulled from online marketplace baselines), and a maximum cloud storage allocation of 10 recipe save slots within the user's database ledger.
• Premium Tier: Unlocks the Predictive Fermentation Model™, advanced multi-stage pre-ferment matrices (bigas, poolishes, levains), 50 recipe save slots, and full access to the localized ingredient cost input tool for precision inventory tracking.
• Payment Processing: All premium transactions are handled via secure, third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Apple App Store In-App Purchases). BreadIQ does not directly store or process financial credit card details.

4. Technical Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• No Culinary Guarantee:BreadIQ provides mathematical calculations based on user inputs (ambient temperature, flour types, hydration targets). Because ambient humidity, flour protein variances, microbial activity, and oven calibration are completely beyond the software's control, BreadIQ is not liable for failed dough batches, ruined ingredients, or inaccurate physical kitchen outcomes.
• Cost Tracking Disclaimers:
  • Basic Tier: Cost data derived from market insights and online listings are general estimations only. BreadIQ assumes no liability for discrepancies between automated estimates and real-world market pricing.
  • Premium Tier: The custom cost tracking feature is an analytical tool based entirely on user-inputted numbers. BreadIQ assumes no operational or financial liability for variances between software cost projections and actual commercial kitchen expenditure, invoicing, or food cost metrics.
• "As-Is" Clause:The service across the Next.js web application and the native iOS/Android apps is provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis without warranties of any kind regarding uptime or cross-browser mobile optimization.

5. Intellectual Property & Digital Rights

• Proprietary Logic: The mathematical calculation matrix, user interface workflows, branding, and the architecture of the Predictive Fermentation Model™ are the sole intellectual property of BreadIQ.
• User Content:Formulas and recipes saved to the user's personal vault remain the intellectual property of the user. By saving data to the platform, the user grants BreadIQ a secure license to store, host, process, and index the data within our Supabase database infrastructure solely to execute app features.

6. Termination of Service & Infrastructure Integrity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these terms, including attempting to reverse-engineer the calculation logic, scraping marketplace cost data, or disrupting our cloud and deployment server environments hosting the web app and API (Vercel, Replit) or the mobile distributions (iOS App Store, Google Play Store).
